This workshop takes place over two days. You will learn the basics of how to light motion pictures, image films or advertisements. What different types of lamps exist and which ones are suited best for different purposes? How can available light be utilized or avoided? How can you convey the passage of time throughout a day? How can you create different moods ranging from happy to creepy? What is „light consistency“ in movies and how does the light have to be adjusted in different shots of a scene?

In addition to a theoretical introduction, you will create different light setups on location and get an opportunity to practice with extras. Our experts will also have time for specific questions or advice for your projects.
